Start small and roll on forward
There’s light but distance away
Unattainable seems everything
The dream of traveling afar
The love always unrequited
The right balance of everything
The music and words dusted
With the promise of tomorrow
Almost everything right on time
Except the change rolling in
The past is drifting more away
With all the words left unsaid
Left moving as if all will settle
