If I could write a physical letter,

The envelope would be blue

Not for the sadness that I would say

Or the memories of a painful time

It would be blue because it’s true

Calm that flows within me

Knowing that I’ve gone through

More than I ever expected to

Blue because it’s the water

That I’m drawn to as the waves

Blue because you are more super

Than you can ever imagine

You’ll know this message is for

You because it’s me in the future
