While I struggled this year, I’m thankful that I did what I could to complete my goals for this year while being an indie author, English college professor, and website content manager.

Here is my quick recap for 2025…

I wrote and edited to make sure my latest book PONDERING REFLECTIONS was published at the end of Spring 2025. I started working on my next book manuscript.

But it wasn’t the writing that kept me the most creative, but sketchbook art. I finished my copy of @sdionbakerdesign’s sketchbook and almost a second sketchbook while also making extra art in a notebook and on pages in a portfolio. This helped me the most to get through stressful moments throughout the year.

Plus I tried my best to focus my efforts on things that I could do to help others from words and actions. As an educator, I can see how my students begin to realize the value of what they are learning as the semester goes on.

As an indie author, I can see reviews and comments from others where my writing has made an impact. I support fellow authors (like @amigasreadergroup) when I can. As a website content manager, I’m able to share the latest of their favorite creative which makes their day brighter.

Plus when I focus on advocating for cancer research and healthcare support, I know I’m giving others more opportunities to survive and thrive like me.

I hope you could notice my efforts throughout this year. Thanks to all who have continued to support my indie author and indie artist journey. I look forward to working towards our goals in the new year.
