The absence of the Witch doesn’t invalidate
The spell, the magic can be found beyond
As long as you search for it’s meaning
It will lead you to unexpected moments
Write it down fast before it goes away
The way you do the writing doesn’t matter
For it is the words that spellbound
Set the scene, the stage, and the actors
Start the play before the time ends
Because forever might be short
Find the joy because it flies by
We’re old enough to know pain
To be a Witch is profound responsibility
Because we can be her when our words
Go beyond what we expect, but we must
Be ready for anything that comes
It’s our actions that will make us
By Christy V.
P.S. Two lines inspired by Emily Dickinson.
