We’re waiting for that day

The warmth of the bright sun

As the palms sway

With the calm waves

As we reach the sandy beach

With a yearning of hope

To be close to one another

We have such devotion

To get there somehow

For now we honor

All the little victories

Thank those who are on duty

Appreciate what we love
