It feels like a year ago

I saw flowers growing on pens

I found out who made them

I asked if she could teach me

She moved before she could

Before she left she gifted me

One that could last the test of time

Every fold shows a little detail

Of a past thought passing the mind

I still hold onto it to remember

The times we had fun at work

With this angle it looks like art

Maybe that’s what she meant all along

Our memories are a piece of art

Like a folded flower
